Kevin Garnett and Ray Allen started that shit... and then Lebron and Chris Bosh did as well.

Hell Lebron about did it once again when he went to play with Kyrie... and Kevin Love (who was KILLIN! with Grizzlies) if he stayed playing similar that Kevin Love, they would accept been unstoppable.

Damn shame folks single out KD.

Actually, Garnett and Allen were acquired via trade. That was just the piece of work of a smart GM. James started the whole "super team" thing. That'due south 1 of the reason why I won't even consider him GOAT.

Is this the function where we pretend Detroit 4 allstars are comparable to GSW;s who accept multiple MVPs?

Did we feel this way when the Bulls or the lakers were winning 3 straight years?

Nah games were battlegrounds back and so, relative skill was closer, more entertaining finishing to games.

Haters gonna hate, congrats to the Warriors

Rest of the league just have to practise better

Correction, the rest of the league has to go into luxury taxation hell to compete. Also, the officials flat out take to do a better job. When they can influence the event of a game/series then they have to held more answerable. With that said nothing will change with the decadent league office.

One good matter virtually KD is he prolongs Curry, Klays, and Dre's run equally champions.
I respect that trio.

Ugh, more people not know what they're talking virtually. Do you lot "new fans" know near the Rockets bringing together Barkley, Drexler, and Hakeem? Or the Lakers bringing together Shaq, Kobe, Malone, and Payton? These "new fans" are just annoying.

Eh. I would not compare those guys to a team with 2 pinnacle three players on their primes.

Pretty clear there's a parity problem in the NBA (fifty-fifty more than then than usual) simply the NBA won't do anything until ratings and revenue are negatively impacted. Non certain how they would combat these super teams especially if players are prepared to take unders for a shot at a championship.

Nah, we cared. Even when information technology was the Heat there were actual competitive finals. You didn't know which way those games versus the Spurs were going to become.

Anybody knows GS wins the title every twelvemonth if nothing changes since Durant joined. Unless another superteam forms, its the same for the next few years so aye.

Lebron ran away when he couldn't trounce the Celtics, formed the first super squad in Miami.

The first super team.... This is another reason why people surrender on discussing basketball. Its full of people who know fuck all most NBA history babbling near the first this and that. They speak with such conviction but know absolutely nothing, all the same are the loudest. Everyone who disagrees with their bullshit is a hater though.

Okay.

Yep, superteams in the NBA started in the 2000's.

Love played for the Wolves offset of all, and the Cavs had to give upward the #1 pick to get him. A lot of people even outside of Cleveland wanted James to get back and get them at to the lowest degree 1 championship, which he did against the odds. And so once more, if he didn't leave in the kickoff identify, who knows what would've happened once the Celtics blew up that squad?

Durant'southward narrative on the other hand, well, he lost despite having a three-ane atomic number 82, and so instantly went to that aforementioned team that shell him that was already breaking records left and right (and won a ring without him together). I would've liked to have seen OKC Durant rematch Lebron in Cleveland, but he made his choice...

Is it all kind of bullshit regarding parity with the superteams? Maybe, just the context notwithstanding matters. There tin be bigger piles of bullshit than others!

Congrats to the GSW fans.

I don't arraign the Warriors one fleck but yeah it's kind of wearisome when yous already know the outcome at the beginning of the flavor and there'due south no tension in the Finals.

NBA'southward biggest weakness is that there is no semblance of parity or hope for anyone but one or ii teams. As a Bulls fan I don't even watch the regular season because I know we won't exist competitive for at least another 3-4 years if nosotros're lucky. As a Bears fan I at least have hope every flavor because, hey, you never know.

I don't know homo, non a big fan of KD'south motility to GSW only like I wasn't happy most Lebron's move to Miami with the greats. If this is the future of the NBA, let's just narrow the league down to xvi teams or something.

Durant ruined the NBA, is a coward, and still hasn't won a genuine championship
What no style. The estrus super team with LeBron was grade A b.s. style before that
  • #198

No this is business concern equally usual for the NBA. Every decade since 1946 at to the lowest degree ane franchise has won at least iii championships going dorsum to the founding of the league. And so literally every 10 years at least i franchise has won at least three championships in those 10 years.

Bruh Whatsoever team in that position was going to have Durant.

You think GSW was just going to say "Nah man that'd brand the league non-competitive" and plough him away?

Ya'll be tripping with this nonsense.

Actually, Garnett and Allen were acquired via merchandise. That was but the work of a smart GM. James started the whole "super squad" affair. That's one of the reason why I won't even consider him Caprine animal.

Why isn't it smart when players practice it? The just difference between modern super teams and super teams from the past is that people seem to take outcome with players taking buying of their own careers for some reason.
